Pass and Provisions is where good food starts with a single recipe.
Simple meals. Honest ingredients. Zero stress. That’s what we’re all about.
Here, every recipe is made to be passed around – at the table, in a text, or saved for later. And every list is built to stock your kitchen with what will work.
No fluff, no fuss. Just food that feels right for the moment you’re in. So grab what you’ve got, pass it on, and let’s cook something good.
How Pass and Provisions Got Started
It all began with one simple question: What should I cook tonight?
After scrolling through too many tabs, saving half-finished grocery lists, and texting friends for their “easy go-to,” we realized something was missing. Recipes were everywhere, but the ones worth repeating? The ones you’d actually pass to someone else? Those were harder to find.
We started saving the recipes that worked, the ones that didn’t waste time, didn’t need a dozen tools, and always turned out right. Then we shared them. One meal led to another, and soon Pass and Provisions was born.
The Meaning Behind the Name “Pass and Provisions”
We wanted a name that felt like a hand reaching across the table. Pass stands for sharing (recipes, tips, stories, and moments). Provisions are the things you keep stocked, the ingredients you count on, the ideas that carry you through the week.
Together, it’s a mindset: pass what’s good, hold on to what works, and cook with what you’ve got. That’s the heart of everything we do here.
This site is our way of keeping it simple. Made for home kitchens, busy lives, and real people who just want to cook something good.

What We Stand For at Pass and Provisions
Food doesn’t have to be complicated to be good. At Pass and Provisions, our goal is to bring you honest, easy recipes that make everyday cooking feel doable, and even fun.
We believe that one solid recipe can go a long way. Whether you’re cooking for one or feeding a group, we want you to feel ready, not rushed.
Our name says a lot: pass the meals that matter, and stock up on provisions that make sense for real life.
Here’s what matters most to us:
What We Don’t Do
We keep things simple on purpose. There’s too much noise online, and we don’t want to add to it.
Here’s what you won’t see here:
We believe recipes should be easy to follow, quick to make, and worth passing on.
Just good food, written in plain language, with steps that help.
Your time matters. We’ll never waste it.
Why People Trust Pass and Provisions
We’re not here to impress, we’re here to help. At Pass and Provisions, we keep things real, simple, and useful. If it’s on our site, it’s been cooked, tested, and passed around more than once.
Recipes We’d Share With Friends
We only post recipes we’d send in a group chat or scribble on a sticky note for a neighbor. They’re the kind you pass along because they work.
Written for Real Life
You won’t need a kitchen full of gadgets or hours of free time. Our recipes are made with what most people already have, and explained in plain, clear steps anyone can follow.
We Cook First, Then Write
Every recipe starts in the kitchen, not on a screen. We cook it, change it, taste it, and cook it again. If something feels off, we fix it before you ever see it.
No Fancy Words, No Guesswork
We don’t believe in vague instructions. You’ll never see “just eyeball it” or “until it looks right.” We give you the real numbers, the helpful tips, and the kind of steps that make sense.
Made to Be Saved
If a recipe isn’t worth making more than once, it doesn’t make the cut. Everything here is built to last in your bookmarks, your brain, and your go-to list.
